April 6th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

ACTIVITIES:
*Diversity day is coming May 4th.  You can participate up to 3 different ways:
1) Enter your work in the Poetry and Spoken Word contest, where the top prize is $100
2) Create a Diversity Day Booth
3) Participate in the Peace Run & Celebration.

Pick up all applications in the Main Office and submit them before 3:30pm on Friday, April 20th.  Plan ahead and join in the celebration!

*Attention Sophomores and Juniors: If you’re interested in being involved with Pathfinders next year, please consider attending an information session on either Friday, April 13th before school or Tuesday, April 17th before or after school.

ATHLETICS:
*Attention Girls Lacrosse players: Girls Lacrosse has been moved to JAC courts 2 & 3 from 4:25-6pm today.

CAREER CENTER:
*The Vice President of Marketing for the Mall of America will be here today at 10:00am as our Career Spotlight Series guest. See Ms. Wallerick in the Career Center for a pass.
MISC:
*The Senior All-Night Party for the Class of 2018 is just around the corner. Registration forms are now available in the main office. Register EARLY to get the best deal. Pick your form up in the main office or check the Jefferson website under News. Parent volunteers are desperately needed, so let your parents know how to get involved! Check the registration form or website for more information.

*Attention all students: next week there will be a special schedule Monday - Thursday. The schedule can be found on our website.
9th graders: On Monday, April 9 you will participate in Freshman Futures Day from 7:50 AM - 11:00 AM. Students should report directly to the auditorium for first hour. Bring your charged Chromebook and something to write with. Be sure to check your school email for your break-out session schedule.
10th graders: On Monday, April 9, you will be taking the MCA Reading Exam.
11th graders: On Monday, April 9, you will be taking the MCA Math Exam.
All students taking exams should report directly to their assigned rooms for testing. Room assignments will be posted in Flag Hall, the Main Office, and Lower C. All testing will be on students' own Chromebooks. Come prepared with your Chromebook fully charged for testing. Check your school email for more testing details.
12th graders: On Monday, April 9, you have a late start. Classes begin for you on Monday at 11 AM.
