Seniors -- it's time to check the diploma
list to be sure that your name is spelled correctly! Please stop at the counseling desk to check
the list and also to fill out a card with the phonetic pronunciation of your
name as well as other information that is required. You have until next Friday, February 6th to
do this!
ACTIVITIES:
Man Pageant contestants: meet in the TV studio (B104) this Friday at
7:30 AM for a quick interview for SPOTS.
Congratulations to Director Elizabeth Tanner, the cast and crew of The
Trojan Women for being the Metro West Conference One Act Champions Tuesday
night at Benilde-St Margaret's. Best of Luck to them as they move into
sectional competition on Thursday at BSM.
Attention Math Lovers! The American Mathematics
Competition will take place on Tuesday, February 3rd in the cafeteria during
1st and 2nd hour. It is a 25-question math test using algebra and geometry open
to all grade levels. If you perform
well, you can move on to the next round and can even qualify for scholarships
and prizes. If you are interested,
please stop by C112 and ask Ms. Lauer for a field trip form. Forms must be turned in by Friday.
Athletics:
The Bloomington Jefferson alpine team had their final conference race
last night at Afton Alps.
The Jefferson Boys finished second overall in the event and the girls
finished fifth.
Individual boys honors go to junior captain Ryan Murray (who finished
second overall), sophomore Alex Schneider (3rd) and freshman Matthew Gasser
(9th).
Individual girls honors go to freshman Morgan Gasser (1st) and sophomore
Kaari Garnett (3rd)
