*Attention 10th graders: if you have not taken the MCA Science exam, have not  finished it, or have online Biology, please plan to go to the Green Lab during your biology class time to test today. Please see Ms. Jarvis with any questions.

*Representatives from National Recognition Products will be in the lunchroom with the orders for the students who did not pick up their items earlier this week. If you ordered graduation items and have not yet picked them up, please do so during your lunch period today.

*If you like to write short stories, poetry, memoirs, or plays or enjoy drawing, painting, or creating digital work, consider submitting some of your work to The Crooked Quill, Jefferson’s literary magazine. The submission deadline has been changed to April 4th. You can send any submissions over email to jeffersonlitmag@gmail.com. See Mr. Hupton in room C5 if you have any questions.

*Have you ever wondered what it would be like to race sailboats? The Jefferson Sailing Team would like to invite you  to a question and answer information meeting on Sunday, March 24th at 2:00 PM. The meeting will take place at the Hero Community Gathering Space in Minneapolis. Learn to sail and race. No prior experience is needed and boats will be provided. *Thank you to all who purchased a Glowdance ticket for tomorrow night.  Please remember to bring a school ID or have your Infinite Campus summary on your phone to enter Jefferson. Make sure you have taken care of any outstanding obligations or you may be denied entry to the dance. You can check for obligations under the “fees” tab in Infinite Campus. The dance will go from 9PM - 11PM. Doors will be locked at 10PM and there will be no re-entry once you’ve left. All school rules apply so that you’re assured of having a great time. See you there!

ACTIVITIES:
*Seniors, there will be a STRIVE meeting tomorrow morning at 7:45 AM in the red flex space. Please plan to bring your Chromebook. You will  be discussing your future career goals and then going over interview tips. This meeting will prepare you for the April STRIVE meeting where you will be doing practice interviews.

TEAMS/CLUBS:
*All Athletic lockers must be cleaned out by 3:00 PM today to get ready for the spring sports season.  Any items found after this time time will be collected and fines will be assessed for missing athletic equipment and locks. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Walton in C06.

*Congratulations to the Jefferson chess team for achieving 4th place at the recent Minnesota Statewide Scholastic Championship Tournament. Chess team members are 12th graders Josh French and Aaron Thomson, 10th grader Serena French and 9th grader Christina Timm.

*Congratulations to speech team members Bella Phan, Claire Miller, and Abigail Larson, who advanced to the semifinals of the Southern Minnesota NSDA Speech Tournament.

*All 9th and 10th grade boys basketball players who have not turned in their equipment and locks should do so today after school in the locker room.  Any basketball players that do not turn these in will have their names added to the obligation list.

*Congratulations to the members of the boys swimming and diving team who competed in the state meet this past weekend.  Sam Wallace dove to second place and was All-State, and the Medley Relay team of Preston Le, Alex Johnson, Carlos Andert, and Jon Halaska placed 15th.

*Come to the activity center at 4:30 PM this Wednesday to cheer on your Jefferson Jets as they head into the playoffs. Good luck, Jets!
