*Any baseball player who did not pick up their beef stick order or was missing part of their order needs to pick up their beef sticks after school today at 2:37 PM.

MISC:
*Come to the Jefferson Show Choirs Dessert and a Show on January 11th from 5PM - 8PM. There will be multiple raffles, a silent auction, delicious desserts, and outstanding performances by the Jive and Connection choirs.  Order tickets at Jefferson.Showchoir@gmail.com.

*Attention students interested in Track and Field! There will be Boys and Girls Track and Field meetings this Wednesday, December 18th during the 2nd half of Advisory. Anyone interested in being in Track and Field should plan to attend. The meeting for the boys will be in Coach Leverenz’s room, C127 and the meeting for the girls will be in Coach Faulk’s room, C19.

*There will be a Boys Volleyball meeting this Wednesday during the 2nd half of Advisory in room B104. If you have any questions or would like more information, please see Mr. Sieling.

CAREER/COLLEGE CENTER:
*An Iowa State University representative, along with a current ISU student, will be in the Media Center this Friday to share information about the university. Sign up online if you’d like to attend.

MISC:

*The football Booster Club will be selling Jefferson Love Your Melon hats at lunch next Monday & Tuesday. The hats will be available for sale in Mr. Carlson's room (C27) the rest of the week. Check out the fliers around school for styles & prices.

CAREER/COLLEGE CENTER:
Next Thursday’s Career Spotlight Speaker will be from Plekkenpol Builders Incorporated and will share about career opportunities in Construction. Sign up online or by using the posted QR code if you’re interested in attending.

MISC:
*Seniors! Don't forget to stop by the Counseling Office to verify the spelling of your name on your diploma prior to Monday, December 16, 2019. You may only check off your own name! *Don’t forget to compost your paper bags, napkins, and leftover food from TJ Coffeehouse in the labeled paper bags in every classroom or in the compost bins in the lunchroom. Also, in case you forgot, plastic is not compostable. See you at the coffeehouse!

Anyone interested in being in Track and Field should plan to attend. *Attention students signed up to take the ACT exam this Saturday! It is very important that you arrive on time for testing. Doors will open to students at 7:30am. Testing STARTS at 8:00am. Once the test starts, you cannot and will not be admitted. Be sure to bring a photo ID and your admission ticket. 

*There are still a few parking permits that have been purchased but not claimed. You will need to pick them up in the main office by the end of this week or they may be issued to another student. We are currently sold out of front lot passes.

*This Friday is a TJCoffeehouse morning! Purchase your favorite treats and beverages including this week’s specialty drink, Peppermint Mocha Latte. Due to rising costs, TJ Coffeehouse prices have been slightly increased. Donuts and muffins now cost $1.50 and bagels now cost $2.00. The coffeehouse will also be selling Snickers Bars and M&Ms and donating the proceeds to the food shelf. There will also be a Craft Fair fundraiser during 1st hour to raise money for the STRIVE/THRIVE/SUN program graduation celebration. See you in the cafeteria on Friday morning, and thank you in advance for your support.

*Today during Advisory we will be doing a PGP check-in. You must have completed activities #1-3 before you will be allowed to attend any club meetings.

MISC:
*Attention students signed up to take the ACT exam this Saturday! It is very important that you arrive on time for testing. Doors will open to students at 7:30am. Testing STARTS at 8:00am. Once the test starts, you cannot and will not be admitted. Be sure to bring a photo ID and your admission ticket. 

*There are still a few parking permits that have been purchased but not claimed. You will need to pick them up in the main office by the end of this week or they may be issued to another student.

*This week’s Career Spotlight speaker will be in the Career/College Center this Thursday to offer information about jobs in the field of Security. Check your email for registration information if you’d like to attend.

*Representatives from Dunwoody College of Technology and from North Dakota State University will be in the Career/College Center this Friday. Sign up online if you’d like to attend a session.

MISC:
*Attention students signed up to take the ACT exam this Saturday! It is very important that you arrive on time for testing. Doors will open to students at 7:30am. Testing STARTS at 8:00am. Once the test starts, you cannot and will not be admitted, so make sure you arrive well before the test begins! Be sure to have a photo ID and your admission ticket. *If you have purchased a Trimester 2 parking permit online, make sure that you pick it up in the main office as soon as possible. Trimester 1 parking permits are no longer valid and you take the risk of getting ticketed if you don’t have a Trimester 2 permit displayed in your car.

*Congratulations to all Jag Pride Trimester 1 award recipients! Please come to the auditorium tomorrow, December 6th at 7:15 AM to receive your award and have treats with your guests. All staff are encouraged to attend.
