Students needing to make-up course registration will be meet in the back of the auditorium. Students should report to their Advisory teacher for attendance before going to the meeting.
The AP Testing Registration Meeting will be in the front of the auditorium.  Students should report to their Advisory teacher for attendance before going to the meeting.

ACTIVITIES:
*Seniors, if you are planning on applying to graduate with honors, please turn in your application to the main office before the end of Tri 2.  If you need the application, you can get one in the Career Center.


*Attention AP Students, this Wednesday, February 27th, during Advisory, there is a mandatory meeting for all students planning to take AP exams in May. Please check in with your Advisory teacher and then head straight to the front of the auditorium.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Lang in C104.


ATHLETICS:
*Interested in track? Captains’ practice for girls begins this week and will continue through next week. Boys begin the week of March 5th and will continue through the following week. Students should plan to meet in the activity center. Practices will start at 3:00 PM and go until 4:30 PM. Bring tennis shoes and athletic clothes. Don’t like to run? There are field event groups as well, so come and join!


*Congratulations to the boys swimming and diving team on their 6th place finish at the section meet this weekend.  Congratulations to diver Sam Wallace on being section champ in diving and qualifying for the state meet, and to Preston Le, Alex Johnson, Carlos Andert, and Jon Halaska for qualifying for state in the 200 Medley Relay.

*Congratulations to the following speech team students who placed 1st in their categories at the Lakeville South Tournament on Saturday:  Noreen Si in novice prose, Abigail Larson in original oratory, and Claire Miller in informative speaking. Claire got perfect scores in the final round! Bloomington placed 5th as a team.

JTC’s competitive one-act performance of Fahrenheit 451 is tonight. The senior preview is at 3:30 PM and the public performance is at 7:00 PM. Fahrenheit 451 is about a “fireman” who is employed to burn the possession of those who read outlawed books. General admission tickets will be available at the door for $10 or $8 for students/seniors. You may also reserve tickets online at JeffersonTheatreCompany.org/GetTickets.

*Open auditions for CHICAGO the High School Edition are this week. Vocal auditions will be held today and tomorrow from 4 PM - 5:30 PM. Dance auditions are today starting at 5:30 PM. Check Jefferson Theater Company’s website under the student section for information on what to prepare for your audition.
