DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS: April 30, 2021

*Seniors, we are celebrating College Signing Day on Monday, May 3. Come to Flag Hall at 10:45 am for a group photo. Be sure to wear your college gear if possible. There will be prize drawings each hour for seniors. 


*If you are interested in learning about careers in nursing, biomedical engineering, or Information Technology be sure to sign up online for this week’s career speakers. See Ms. Wallerick in the College/Career Center for more information.


*Seniors! Be sure to check your school email for information about the teacher and student graduation speaker. Voting for the teacher speaker closes on May 5. Applications to be the student speaker are due by May 14.  See Ms. Jarvis with any questions.


*Next week, May 3rd- May 7th, is the VEAP food drive! Make sure to bring non-perishable foods, toiletries, or even money to support VEAP.  Food can be dropped in the boxes placed around the school. Money can be dropped off at the student council table in the cafeteria before school or during lunch!

DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS: April 20, 2021

*Attention 10th & 11th Graders: tomorrow you will come to school to take the MCA exam; 10th graders will take the reading exam and 11th graders will take the math exam. Please arrive at school with your fully charged Chromebook!

Your room assignment is listed on the signs posted in Flag Hall, Flex Hall, and outside the main office. Check the signs today and report directly to your room tomorrow.

Don't worry if you opted out from testing and your name is on the sign. Room assignments were made prior to opt outs. If you opted out, you should stay home tomorrow.

A bag lunch will be available for pickup when you leave the building after testing. The lunch provided will be hotdogs.

The Hennepin County Sheriff will be speaking about career opportunities in Law Enforcement, a high school principal from Arizona will speak about the responsibilities of being a high school principal, and the CEO from VAA Engineering will be speaking about career opportunities in Engineering.
