May 31TH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS


Reminder:
If you have medications in the Health office, they must be picked up by the end of the day, Friday
June 3rd.  Students cannot carry medications around at school, all medications must happen at the
End of any given school day.





Attention Juniors: If you are taking AP English 12 next year, you need to stop in room C-8 to pick
up your summer reading book. See Mr. Levinski if you have any questions.





Athletics:
All PHY ED lockers must be cleaned out by Wednesday, June 1 by 3 p.m.. Lost and found items will
Be donated after that time.

All girl’s sports uniforms must be returned to Mrs. Roder Tuesday and Wednesday after school, unless
Your team is still in sections.

The boy’s athletics turn in will be open Wednesday through Friday from 2:45 p.m. – 3:15 p.m. on the
athletic side of the locker room. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Walton in C-06.

Congratulations to the Jefferson High School Clay Target Teams.  The Jefferson Trap Team for
Placing 2nd in their conference. The Skeet Team also placed second in their conference and Dylan Burns
was top Shooter in the conference. Dylan is also 8th in the State of Minnesota.

Students if you purchased prom photos you may pick them up in the counseling office from Ms. Sheff.

Seniors this is a reminder that you have mandatory graduation rehearsal on Tuesday, May 31, at 3:00 p.m. in the cafeteria.



Students please check the lost and found located in flag all. All items will be donated after
Friday, May 27th..




Seniors be sure to check the obligations list. Your obligations must be taken care of before graduation.






Athletics:
Congratulations to the boy’s lacrosse team on winning their game last night and earning back to back
Metro West Conference Championships. They also earned the #1 seed in the Section playoff that starts
Next Friday at 6 p.m. out on the turf.

May 26TH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Students are you borrowing a chrome book from the media center while yours is getting repaired. Please check your email to see if your chrome book has been fixed and is waiting for you in the media center.

Detention will be after school today in room C116, C117, and C118 at 2:20.


ATHLETICS:

Congratulations to the members of two relay teams for the girls track team for breaking school records at the Minnetonka Relays.  Kailynn Blanchard, Brenna Keeler, Julia Benson, and Alyssa Lind broke the 4x100 record running 49.62.  Alyssa Lind was also a member of the 4x800 team along with Elena Hayday, Elise Longley, and Molly Roach.  That team ran 9:23.26 breaking the old record by 9.99 seconds.  Congratulations!

Students please remember to bring your yearbook to your homeroom today. You need this in order to receive additional material.

Attention students: This week is not a spirit week. There is no headgear worn during school hours. There is also no music played during passing time in the hallways.

Athletics:

A huge congratulation goes out to the boy's lacrosse team for beating Edina last night by a score of 12 to 11 in over time.  The Jags came back to win after being down by a score of 6 to Zero.  They start playoffs next Friday right here on campus out on the turf, its time to get out your best Jaguar Super Fan outfits, for a long playoff run.   And a special thanks to the loud and proud WE ARE JEFFERSON chants during the game last night.  Leading scorers were Ryan Graff and Weiland Parrish.  Stopping the Edina shots was Dennis Neuenfeldt, and great defense was played by Andrew Broman, Luke Graves, Nick Wallace, Justin Zielinski and Jack Monssen.  




Career center:

The ARMY recruiter makes his last visit to the Career Center today during lunches. Stop by if interested in learning more about the Army. 

Are you at least 18 and want a job working outside this summer? Senior Community Services HOME program is looking for lawn care workers to help seniors in the community. It pays $16/hr. You must have a mower and be able to transport it.  Stop in the Career Center to get contact information or check the online job board.

Attention 9th Graders:
The MAP Reading Test will be taking place this week on Wednesday and Thursday. Please check the lists that are posted outside the BLUE and GOLD Computer Labs to see where your testing time and location will be.  Please report DIRECTLY to your assigned computer lab on your testing day!

Please prepare yourselves for the MAP Reading Test by getting a good night's sleep and eating a healthy breakfast on the testing days!  Do your best, as your score will be part of your permanent school record!

Attention Jaguar Super Fans, today is the day you've been waiting for.  Your #2 in state ranked boys lacrosse team is set to battle the #1 ranked Hornets tonight at the Edina Stadium at 5:30 pm.  Come out on this beautiful night and cheer your Jags to victory.  See you there.

The Air Force recruiter will be in the Career Center on today during lunches. If you are interested in learning more about Air Force opportunities, please stop in during your lunch.
