ACTIVITIES:
It's not too late to join in the Latin/World History trip to Italy! Deadline for enrollment is December 15th. Go online and sign up at worldstrides.com/enroll.  See Mr. or Ms. Johnson if you have any questions.

ATHLETICS:
There will be a Girls Lacrosse Informational meeting on Monday, Dec. 4th at 7:30pm in the Cafeteria.

CAREER CENTER:
Representatives from the following universities will be visiting Jefferson next week:
  Monday at 10am - the University of Nebraska, Lincoln
  Friday at 9am - the University of Wisconsin, River Falls
See Mrs. Wallerick in the Career Center if you have any questions.

MISC:
Snacks and beverages will be available during passing times today at the Snack Attack, the JagWearHouse, and TJ Coffeehouse. The Coffeehouse purchases can be made during the 2nd passing time in Flag Hall. Snack Attack and JagWearHouse will be open during both passing times.

BCCA students: Just a reminder that the bus will be picking you up right after 4th period today. Please report to the Main Door by 10:45am.

Students who plan on riding a bus home today: Lunch period ends at 12:45 today and buses will depart from Jefferson at 12:50. Please be prompt!

Attention seniors: Your senior photos are due by this Friday. Go to the Jefferson yearbook activity page for the link to submit your photo. Email or see Mrs. Pagel in room C4 if you have any questions.

MISC:
JagWearHouse, the new school store, will be open during passing times today and tomorrow and will offer a variety of healthy snacks and beverages including granola bars, beef sticks, juice, and water. You can find the JagWearHouse in room B109, the old yearbook room, located at the East end of Flex Hall.

Pathfinders will be hosting Cocoa and Cram after school today from 2:45 to 3:30 in the Cafeteria. Tutors will be available in all subjects and cocoa is free for freshmen who are there studying. Hope to see you after school!

Congratulations to our South Suburban Jets who are heading for the state tournament on Friday, Nov.17 and Saturday, Nov.18 at Stillwater Area High School.  Come on out and show your support!

MISC:
Congratulations to Amelia Miller, who placed as 3rd alternate, and Bella Phan who placed 1st at the Congressional Debate National Qualifier on Wednesday.  That earns Bella a trip to the Congressional Debate National Tournament in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida this June!

To all students: The Honors Diploma Program is designed for students who wish to participate in a comprehensive, 4-year advanced academic program resulting in honors graduation. Coursework is available in all grade levels, offering a wide variety of topics and subject matter. If you’re interested in finding out more about the Honors Diploma Program, please attend an informational meeting in the Auditorium on November 15th during the 2nd half of Advisory.

This Friday is the next TJ Coffeehouse of the school year.  All of your favorite items as well as a new item, Peppermint Mocha,  will be on sale beginning at 8:15 in the Cafeteria. To make transactions as convenient as possible, bring one-dollar bills for your purchase. Also, please keep in mind that there is one entrance and one exit for the TJ Coffeehouse. Enter on the far side of the Cafeteria near the gymnasium and exit near the salad bar location. Thanks in advance for your cooperation with this matter.

There will be an important baseball meeting for all 9-12 graders that plan to try out for baseball this coming Spring.  The meeting will be held tomorrow morning at 7:15am in the Jefferson Activity Center.

Cast your ballot in the JHS Mock Election using the link sent to your ISD271 email. All voters are put into a drawing for seven gift cards.  Winners will be chosen at random.

Today is your last opportunity to turn in equipment for the fall athletic season before your name will be added to the obligation list.  Please bring all locks and equipment to the boys locker room by 2:45 this afternoon.

Additionally, all fall athletic lockers must be cleaned out by 2:45 pm this Wednesday.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Walton in C-06.

Nordic Ski Team captain's practices start Monday, Nov. 6th at 3:30pm. Meet in the Activity Center dressed for outdoor activity.

Stop by the Hurricane Relief table in the lunchroom today between 11-12:30. Purchase hot chocolate, rice crispy treats, and water for $0.50 each. All money will be donated to help our friends in Puerto Rico.

A representative from National Recognition Products will be in the lunchroom today from 11-12:30 and will be accepting class ring orders from all grades and graduation orders from seniors.
