April 29th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS


Seniors: If you are entering the military after high school, please see Mrs. Duffy in the main office.

Students who did not finish their MCA Science test will test today in the Red Lab during their biology class.

ACTIVITIES:

Come see JTC’s upcoming musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie. This tap dancing musical comedy will be in the Auditorium May 5, 6, 7 at 7pm and May 7, 8 at 3pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for Seniors and Students. 

There will be an informational meeting for the upcoming tryouts for the Kolleens Fall Performance Team. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 3rd in the cafeteria at Jefferson. Please join us if you are interested in joining the team.

  
Athletics:

Congratulations to the boy’s lacrosse team on beating Benilde last night by a score of 11 to 5.  The Jags were led in scoring by seniors Mike Goedderz and Ryan Graff.  They play Eastview on Saturday at 2 o'clock out on the turf, come support the guys.  Also tomorrow the lacrosse teams are having fundraisers at Pizza Rev and Chipotle, you can eat Pizza Rev for lunch and Chipotle for dinner and show your support for both the girls and boys lacrosse teams.  Go Jags.

April 26th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Students prom and graduation are quickly approaching please make sure you look at the obligation list located in the main office window.


Attention Seniors: All books, fines and Chromebook fees are due in the Media Center Wednesday, May 11th.   Books, fines and fees of students in grades 9-11 are due in the Media Center Friday, May 20th. Please make sure to return materials and pay fines and fees on time.

Attention 11th grade students who missed the ACT test. Makeup day is May 3rd. Please see Ms. Jarvis or Ms. Wetzel if you need to make up the test.

Detention will be after school today in room C115 at 2:45.

ACTIVITIES:

Don't forget, Pathfinder Applications are due online by this Friday at 3:00 PM.  You did NOT need to have received an invite in order to apply!

  

Athletics:


Congratulations to the boy’s lacrosse team for beating Burnsville last night by a score of 21 to 2.  The Jags improved their record to 3 wins and no losses.  They play Thursday night here at Jefferson out on the turf at 6pm, show up to cheer on the team.

April 25th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Students prom and graduation are quickly approaching please make sure you look at the obligation list located in the main office window.

Seniors interested in giving a graduation speech, tryouts are Thursday, May 5th at 2:25pm in C29.  You must turn in a hard copy of the speech to Mrs. Duffy in the Main Office, by Wednesday, May 4th at 3:30 pm. If you have any questions please see your English teacher or Mrs. Duffy in the main office.

Wednesday, April 27th, during homeroom there will be a mandatory meeting for everyone who signed up to take the AP exam. Check in with your homeroom teacher first, and then proceed to the front of the auditorium with a pencil. If for some reason you can’t attend please see Mr. Lang before May 2nd.

Attention seniors! All books, materials, and fines are due in the Media Center on May 11th.

ACTIVITIES:

The variety show is tomorrow during first hour. Tickets will be on sale today at lunch for $3.00, and tomorrow in the morning before the show for $5.00.  Come see the most talented people at Jefferson!

Senior’s it is not too late to sign up for the senior all night party. Please stop by the main office to pick up the registration forms or find them on the JHS website.

Congratulations to junior, Ingrid Koester, who was selected to become the next drum major of the Jaguar marching band. Ingrid will lead the band in the fall of 2016 on the football field and for the band's performance tour of Hawaii. Way to go, Ingrid!
