Seniors interested in giving a graduation speech,
tryouts are Thursday, May 5th at 2:25pm in C29. You must turn in a hard copy of the speech to
Mrs. Duffy in the Main Office, by Wednesday, May 4th at 3:30 pm. If
you have any questions please see your English teacher or Mrs. Duffy in the
main office.
Wednesday, April 27th, during homeroom
there will be a mandatory meeting for everyone who signed up to take the AP
exam. Check in with your homeroom teacher first, and then proceed to the front
of the auditorium with a pencil. If for some reason you can’t attend please see
Mr. Lang before May 2nd.
ACTIVITIES:
The variety show is next week on Tuesday during the first hour. Tickets
will be on sale today and Monday at lunch, and the morning before the
show. Come see the most talented people
at Jefferson!
Career center:
Are you planning to take the June 11 ACT? On-time registration ends on May 6. Go to www.actstudent.org to register. The earlier you do, the
more likely you are to get your preferred testing center. For Jefferson's
school code and Test Center code, check the bulletin board outside the Career
Center.
On
Monday, a recruiter for University of St. Thomas Air Force ROTC will be in the
Career Center at 10:30. If you are interested, please sign up in the
Career Center to get a pass.
The
University of Kansas admissions rep will be in the Career Center on
Monday at 1:00. Please sign up in the Career Center to get a pass.
