November 30TH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

The annual JHS food drive is coming (the week of 12/10) start assembling your team now.

Jaguar Games...be a part...Homeroom 12/2/2015.


ACTIVITIES:

Congratulations to the Jefferson math team for an excellent meet on November 23. The team moved up the rankings from 7th place to 5th place where they are currently tied with Burnsville and Rosemount. The team was led by Ashley Neuenfeldt who had a perfect score on event A. Way to go Jaguars!

Athletics:

Attention Boy Athletes:  
All lost and found material from the fall athletic season will be donated to the Good Will on Monday, November 30th.  If you have any questions, please stop by and see Mr. Walton in C-06.  

Career center:

Practice ACT results are now available in the Career Center.  Please stop by and pick yours up!

November 20TH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Tri 2 Parking Permit Applications are available in the main office.  To insure that you have your permit for the first day of Tri 2, your application is due by Friday, November 20.

If you ordered a Tri 2 parking permit online please stop in the main office to pick it up.

Math Team t-shirts are in.  Stop by Ms. Woods' room to pick yours up.

During finals, open lunch is for 10th-12th graders only.  Remember freshmen will be held in class for 5 minutes longer (released @ 11:53)

People leaving for lunch please remember:
*no running to/from the parking lot,
*no racing to/from lunch (aka. follow all speed limits, in the parking lot it is 10mph) and
*plan on being back 5-10 minutes early.

Also students who leave campus are our ambassadors to the community, so please be the responsible young adults we love having here at JHS and continue to use your manners and be respectful to yourself & others.  Thank you and do well on your finals!!

Attention Hockey Fans, the boys' hockey season kicks off tonight with the traditional Blue-White game at 5:30 tonight at the Bloomington Ice Garden.  Come check out this year's squad.  The Blue-White game is free, so grab your friends and head to BIG for some Jaguar hockey action.

B Squad girl’s basketball please remember to pick up your team jerseys from Ms. Roder after school today.

Students come watch the 2015-16 Jefferson HS Boy’s Hockey Squad, Blue-White Game, thisFriday, NOVEMBER 20TH, 5:30 PM, RINK #1.  Admission is free, but a donation of a non-perishable food item for the Bloomington VEAP food shelf is greatly appreciated.  GO JAGS!!!

ACTIVITIES:
Voices Heard Presents: A Conversation Between Youth and Cops, a collaborative presentation by Bloomington and Richfield police officers and students. It will be held on Tuesday, November 17th from 5:30pm-9:00pm at the Bloomington Civic Plaza.

Please support the Jefferson High School Media Center by shopping at Barnes and Noble Book Store at the Galleria in Edina on Saturday, November 28th. The Media Center will receive a percentage of all Jefferson High School sales that day. Please present a voucher -- available in the media center or at the book fair table inside Barnes and Noble. Thanks for your support!
