ACTIVITIES:
This is the week!
Science Olympiad returns to Jefferson High School. This Thursday after
school in C127, the Jefferson Science Olympiad team will hold their first
meeting of the season. Anyone can join! Stop by Thursday after school
in C127 for more information.
Congratulations to the
Jefferson math team on a terrific meet Monday night. 57 students participated
and two earned perfect scores: Charles Maki and Ashley Neuenfeldt. The team
placed 7th in the division. Go Jags!
Are you a writer or
an artist? If so, the Jefferson Literary Magazine is taking
submissions! Send in your short stories, poetry, and visual art tojeffersonlitmag@gmail.com. Questions can be addressed
to Mr. Hupton in room C5.
Attention Math Team,
We will be ordering on math team t-shirts on
Friday. Please see Ms. Woods if you have not yet ordered and/or paid for
your t-shirt.
If you are interested in a class ring, the
representative will be here today during lunch in the cafeteria with samples and
information.
Athletics:
Boy athletes, who have not turned in their fall sports
equipment yet, may do so after school on Thursday, Nov. 5th from 2:20-2:50 at
the equipment window in the boy’s locker room. Also, all athletic side
lockers must be cleaned out by 3:00 this Friday, Nov. 6th
in order to get ready for the winter sports season. If you have any
questions, please see Mr. Walton in C-06.
Nordic Skiing has captains practice all
this week after school in the activity center.
