May 29th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

The end of the year is approaching students please check the lost and found located in flag hall.

Prom pictures are available for pick up in the main office before / after school and lunchtime.

Because students cannot carry medications around at school, any medication pick-ups by the student must happen at the end of any given school day.  All medications must be picked up by the end of the school day, Wednesday, June 3rd.



Athletics:

Any boys spring athletes that still have uniforms or athletic locks to turn in, please do so right away after school today.

All Boys Track athletes will turn in their equipment today right after school.  If they are not in by today you WILL GET FINED. 



Career center:

Are you looking for something to do this summer?  Camp Invention is looking for a few more responsible teenagers to be leadership interns for one week in June at Oak Grove Middle School, working with elementary children.  Students entering 10th grade through college are eligible to apply.  The camp is June 22-26, with a setup/training day the morning of June 18.  You can volunteer as an intern or get paid $150.  If you are interested in this opportunity to get some leadership training, come by the Career Center to get application information or check the employment postings on the Career Center website.

May 28th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Reminder to all seniors all obligations must be taken care of in order to receive your diploma.

Seniors, who are in the top 10% of the class, please stop by the counseling desk to pick up your gold cord for graduation.

Seniors - don't forget to turn in your completed green final transcript request form (envelope and $6.00 also) to the counseling office.    Final transcripts will NOT be sent out unless we have this.

Seniors your seat placement for graduation is posted several places around the building. There is a color code one at the main office.

Today the seniors may receive there lunch rebate if they have $10.00 or less. It will be given out by the salad bar after each lunch period.

Congratulations to Colton Myles, Zak Ketterson, Weldon Makori and Duane Moore who made finals in the Section Track meet.  Congratulations to Rachel Lee, Alyssa Lind,  Molly Roach, Jasmine Oneal, Elena Hayday Sidney Starling and Madison Richardson who also made finals.  Come see the Jags run jump and throw their way to State at St. Thomas tomorrow night. 


Career center:

Seniors, if you were one of the recipients of a Jag Pride, Kopp Foundation, or Midwest Vending scholarships, remember to bring your thank you note and college information to the Career Center by this Thursday.  If you have lost the form that came with your award, see Ms. Linscheid in the Career Center.

Attention Seniors who won scholarships at Awards Night last week: Remember to complete the form that was attached to your award and your thank you note, and bring them to the Career Center by this Thursday!  You need to hand this in so your scholarship can be sent to the proper place.

May 22nd DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Yearbooks are available and on sale in the yearbook room.


Athletics:

Attention Boys Track:  JV participants will turn in their uniforms today right after school in the equipment window.


Congratulations to the boy’s lacrosse team on beating Apple Valley last night by a score of 14 to 5 and closing out the regular season with 13 wins and NO LOSSES!  Way to go Jaguars.  Leading the team with 3 goals and 5 assists last night was Ryan Graff and Joey Eggleston had 4 goals.  And scoring his first Varsity Goal ever, was Alex Wilson... Congrats to the Jags, and look for them to play in the playoffs right here on our turf next Friday night.

Congrats to Jake Irvin for being named a MN Mr. Baseball finalist.
