Seniors that have
applied for the Transition to College program at Normandale Community College,
please be advised that the meeting which was scheduled for today has been
cancelled. More information about this program has been sent to your
email. If you have any questions please see Mr. Hall.
If
you were not at the awards ceremony, senior awards can pick up in the main
office and all academic letter awards and top decile awards can be picked up in
the counseling office.
Media center will be
closed today to all students from 12:30 pm. - 3:30pm.
Detention is in rooms C117, C116
and C115.
Athletics:
The boys and girls
track teams competed in day 2 of Metro West Conference track meet last
night. The boys finished in 4th place overall with 93.5 points. Top
3 finishers for the boys included: Duane Moore was 1st in the 100 AND the
200. Colton Myles 1st in the 110 Hurdles AND the 300 Hurdles.
Weldon Makori 3rd in the 800. Dejon Shepreaux was 3rd in the High Jump.
Jesse Richard took 1st in the Discus and 9th grader, Logan Day, was 5th in the
300 hurdles and 6th in the 110 Hurdles. The 4x200 team was 3rd.
The
girls finished in 3rd place overall with 109 points. Top 3 finishers for
the girls included: Alyssa Lind and Molly Roach, 2nd and 3rd in the 400
(9th grader Elena Hayday finished 5th). In the 800, Molly Roach finished
1st with Sydni Starling finishing 3rd. Rachel Lee finished 3rd in the 300
hurdles. Jordan Jasorka was 3rd in the Pole Vault. The 4x200 relay
was 2nd and the 4x400 took 1st. The 4x400's winning time of 3:59.08 set a
new school record by over 3 seconds. The team included Alyssa Lind,
Rachel Lee, Elena Hayday, and Molly Roach. Way to go girls!
