June 7th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

ACTIVITIES:

*Attention All Students Enrolled in AP English Courses for next year:

Current 11th graders signed up for AP English 12 - pick up your summer reading materials in room C08

Current 10th graders signed up for 11th grade AP English - please check APLAC summer reading assignments on Google Classrooms.

Current 9th graders enrolled in 10th grade AP English - please pick up your summer reading packets from Mr. Wills in room C01B or check with your English teacher.

*Attention students signed up for AP Calculus AB next year. Please check your school email regarding the instructions for your summer assignment.  

ATHLETICS:

*Any locks on the athletic side of the locker room not turned  in prior to the end of the school day today will be cut and any contents will be collected .

MISC:

*Attention all students:  all Chromebook equipment is due today. Turn in your Chromebooks, chargers, and cases during a special advisory after final exams.  If you will not be here, return your equipment to the Media Center before leaving the building after your last class of the term. If equipment is missing or damaged, fines will be assessed and missing devices will be disabled.

*If you have medication in the Health Office, it must be picked up by the end of the day today. Because students cannot carry medications around at school, all medication pick ups must happen at the end of any given school day.

* Students who didn’t attend the Award ceremony, please pick up your Academic awards from Ms. Espy in the Counseling office before you leave today.

* Don’t forget to clean out your lockers before you leave today.

June 6th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

ACTIVITIES:

*Attention juniors: if you registered for AP English 12 for next year and have not received your summer reading, be sure to go to room C8 to pick it up.

ATHLETICS:

*Any locks on the athletic side of the locker room not turned  in prior to the end of the school day Wednesday, June 7th will be cut and any contents will be collected.

*All girls' athletic equipment needs to be returned to Mrs. Roder by the end of the school day tomorrow. Items should be returned before or after school today or Tuesday.

*Tomorrow is also the last day for boys spring athletes not involved in section or state competition to turn in uniforms and equipment after school beginning at 2:45pm.  Any equipment outstanding will ensure your name is added to the obligation list.

June 2nd DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

ACTIVITIES:

*All Seniors participating in the graduation ceremony on Wednesday, June 7 MUST attend the mandatory rehearsal on Tuesday, June 6 at 3 PM in the cafeteria. Students who do not attend rehearsal will not be allowed to participate in the graduation ceremony. See Ms. Jarvis with any questions.

*Seniors:  all Chromebook equipment is due today. Please turn in your Chromebooks, chargers, and cases during 6th period after final exams. If you do not have a 6th period class, return your equipment to the Media Center before leaving the building after your last class of the term. If equipment is missing or damaged, fines will be assessed. Missing devices will be disabled.

ATHLETICS:

*Boys JV and Varsity Track and Field athletes who do not qualify for the state tournament are required to turn in their uniforms and locks after school today, June 2nd at 2:45.  

*Congratulations to the girls track team on their outstanding performances at the Section 3AA track meet.  Individuals that will be representing Jefferson at the state track and field meet next week will be Elise Longley, Alyssa Lind, and Molly Roach.  

Three relays also earned a trip to the state meet including: the 4x100 team of Kailynn Blanchard, Celena Rea, Julia Benson, and Alyssa Lind.  The 4x200 team of Kailyn Blanchard, Julia Benson, Celena Rea, and Molly Roach.  And the 4x400 team of Elena Hayday, Isabel Fredrickson, Molly Roach, and Alyssa Lind.  

As a team, the girls finished 3rd out of 12 teams beating out a tough Prior Lake team for that spot.

*A reminder to students who were unable to attend the award ceremony: Please come to pick up your awards as soon as possible.  Academic Letter Awards and Academic Decile awards can be found in the Counseling Center.  All other awards, including Theater awards can be found in the Main Office.  

*For students who ordered a DVD of the Aladdin production: You may pick up your DVD in the Main Office.
