If you do not have a 6th period class, return your equipment to the Media Center before leaving the building after your last class of the term. *Boys JV and Varsity Track and Field athletes who do not qualify for the state tournament are required to turn in their uniforms and locks after school on Friday, June 2nd at 2:45.  Any senior athletes who do not turn in their equipment or locks will be added to the obligation list and will not receive their diploma until these obligations are met.  Please contact Mr. Walton in C-06 if you have any questions.

*Congratulations to the girls track team for defending their Metro West title last night.  Your first place Jags out-scored second place Chaska 208 to 115.  Thirteen Jags earn all conference honors.  Macya Boyd, Kailynn Blanchard, Julia Benson, Molly Roach, Elena Hayday, Celena Rea, Kristin Sako, Alyssa Lind, Samantha Sunnarborg, Emma Peterson, Elise Longley, Alyssa Wynn and Isabel Fredrickson.  Another four received honorable mention - Claire Carlson, Erin Drewitz, Kaitlyn Behrns, and Paige Sorenson.  Great work!

*For the 100th year anniversary of Bloomington Public Schools, Jefferson is going to bury a time capsule that will be opened in 25 years (2042). This is your chance to submit something for that time capsule and be remembered!

We are looking for written submissions and photos.  Written submissions could include short essays, stories, letters to students in the future, tweets, and anything else that might shine a light on life in 2017. Photos should demonstrate life in 2017 and have a short caption on the bottom or back.

You can email your submission to Principal Anderson (janderson3@isd271.org) or drop them off to Mrs. Clark in the Main Office.

Submissions are due by Wednesday May 24th.
