May 5th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention: Students there is no parking at Olson middle school other then the Olson Lot with a permit. If found you will be ticketed twice the amount.

Seniors:
-If you are interested in giving a speech at your graduation, scripts are due to Mrs. Duffy in the main office this Wednesday by 3:30. Tryouts are Thursday, May 7th, 2:30 in room C29.
-If you are entering the military after graduation, see Mrs. Duffy in the main office.
-Please report your scholarships to Mrs. Duffy in the main office.

Detention is in rooms B110 and C20.

ACTIVITIES:

Prom tickets are on sale till 5/15 in the main office (before/after school and during lunch). The cost of a ticket is $35.00; checks only written out to ISD 271 will be accepted for payment. Please check the obligation list for you and your date. All obligations must be paid before you or your date may purchase your ticket. If you are bring a guest to Prom your form is due on or before 5/13 @ 3:00pm.

Congratulations to sophomore trumpet player Jackie Gerhardson, and junior violinist Elle Marti. Both girls were selected into the 2015-2016 Minnesota All-State Music Program. Jackie and Elle will be performing as part of the prestigious All-State Orchestra during the next school year.

Attention JHS Seniors! 
Register for the All Night after graduation party by May 11th and you'll be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $50 gift card.

Athletics:

Congratulations to the boys lacrosse team on beating both Chaska and Eastview this past week, they currently have 7 wins and no losses.  This week they play Cooper on Tuesday here at JHS Turf and then they battle Eden Prairie on Thursday at EP, so any and all JAGUAR SUPER FANS are welcome and needed on Thursday night at Eden Prairie.  Go Jags!

There will be an informational meeting for any girl interested in playing tennis this fall during Wednesday's homeroom in C108


Career center:

A representative from The University of North Dakota will visit the Career Center on Today at 10:25.  If you are interested in the University of North Dakota or want to know more about it, please sign up in the Career Center and get a pass.


A recruiter from the US Navy will be in the Career Center on Wednesday, 5/6 during lunches.  Sign up in the Career Center to get a pass.
