Athletics:
A huge congratulation
goes out to the boy's lacrosse team for beating Edina last night by a score of
12 to 11 in over time. The Jags came back to win after being down by a
score of 6 to Zero. They start playoffs next Friday right here
on campus out on the turf, its time to get out your best Jaguar Super Fan
outfits, for a long playoff run. And a special thanks to the loud and
proud WE ARE JEFFERSON chants during the game last night. Leading scorers
were Ryan Graff and Weiland Parrish. Stopping the Edina shots was Dennis
Neuenfeldt, and great defense was played by Andrew Broman, Luke Graves, Nick
Wallace, Justin Zielinski and Jack Monssen.
Career center:
The ARMY recruiter
makes his last visit to the Career Center today during lunches. Stop by if
interested in learning more about the Army.
Are you at least 18 and
want a job working outside this summer? Senior Community Services HOME program
is looking for lawn care workers to help seniors in the community. It pays
$16/hr. You must have a mower and be able to transport it. Stop in the
Career Center to get contact information or check the online job board.
