May 2nd DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Attention Students: All guest forms for prom are due to the counseling office by Friday, May 6.

ACTIVITIES:

Come see JTC’s upcoming musical, Thoroughly Modern Millie. This tap dancing musical comedy will be in the Auditorium May 5, 6, 7 at 7pm and May 7, 8 at 3pm. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for Seniors and Students. 

There will be an informational meeting for the upcoming tryouts for the Kolleens Fall Performance Team. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, May 3rd in the cafeteria at Jefferson. Please join us if you are interested in joining the team.

There will be an informational meeting about next years Spanish trip.  The meeting will be during the second half of homeroom on Wednesday in Mr. Takalo's room, C12

Student council applications are available all week in the counseling office.

Athletics:

Congrats to the varsity boy’s tennis team for defeating Chanhassen 7-0 on Friday and winning the Harding Tournament on Saturday.  The Jags were the best of 8 teams.  Also winning individual titles were Joe Punnoose, John Gardner, Ian Kein, Will Benson and Isaac Kasahara.

Career center:

A representative from the National Guard is scheduled in the Career Centeron Wednesday from 11:15-12:15. If you are interested in learning more about the National Guard, please sign up in the Career Center.

If you are planning to take the Jun 4th SAT or the June 11th ACT, the registration deadline for both tests is this week. Please see Mrs. Linscheid in the Career Center with questions.
