DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS: FEBRUARY 22nd

ACTIVITIES:
*Seniors, if you are planning on applying to graduate with honors, please turn in your application to the main office before the end of Tri 2.  If you need the application, you can get one in the Career Center.


*Attention AP students: Next Wednesday, February 27th, during Advisory, there is a mandatory meeting for all students planning to take AP exams in May. Please check in with your Advisory teacher and then head straight to the front of the auditorium.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Lang in C104.

CAREER/COLLEGE CENTER:
Representatives from the following colleges/universities will be available for questions in the College and Career Center next week:
  Iowa State University
  Vermillion Community College
  University of North Dakota
  Bethany Lutheran College
Sign in to Naviance to for check dates and times and to register to attend.


MISC:
*Trimester 3 parking permit applications are now available online or in the main office. Be sure to buy your permit early to avoid any last minute issues. Remember that all obligations must be cleared before you will be able to purchase your permit. Check your Infinite Campus account under the fees tab to see if you have any unpaid obligations or missing materials.


*9th - 11th grade students: course registration for the 2019-2020 school year was due last week. Please log into Infinite Campus and check to make sure you have registered for at least 18 courses. If you need help, see Mrs. Theis in the counseling office.

*If you like to write short stories, poetry, memoirs, or plays or enjoy drawing, painting, or creating digital work, consider submitting some of your work to The Crooked Quill, Jefferson’s literary magazine. The submission deadline has been changed to April 4th. You can send any submissions over email to jeffersonlitmag@gmail.com. See Mr. Hupton in room C5 if you have any questions.
