Attention Science Olympiad
team members: be sure to attend Thursday's after school mandatory meeting in
C127 to receive event assignments for our upcoming tournaments.
Athletics:
Bloomington Jefferson had their second MetroWest conference alpine race
last night at Buck Hill with great results!
The Jefferson Boys Team won the event. They were led by team
captain Ryan Murray who finished 2nd overall. Additional top ten
finishers included sophomore Alex Schneider (6th) and freshman Matthew Gasser
(8th).
While the girls team finished in 4th place, they were led once again by
Jaguar freshman Morgan Gasser who was the top female racer at yesterday’s race.
Morgan was closely followed by teammate Kaari Garnett, a sophomore, who
finished second overall. Jefferson freshman Kierra Wendorf-Finstrom also
finished in the top ten.

Congratulations to the gymnastics team for
defeating St. Louis Park 132.325 to 120.90 to move to 2-0 in the conference.
Junior captain Leah Dargis placed 2nd on
vault, floor and the all around.
Francesca Schack finished 3rd on vault and
floor. Hannah Mellesmoen was 2nd on bars and 3rd on beam. Olivia
Bedor placed 4th on floor.
