April 10th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

ACTIVITIES:
*Box City Vigil registration forms are now available in the Main Office. T-shirt order forms will be due by Wednesday, April 25th. Turn in all forms to Flora or bring them to the Main Office.

Each year, the American Legion Boys and Girls States are among the most respected and selective educational programs for government instruction for high school students. Girls and Boys States are participatory programs where each student becomes a part of a model government that reflects our federal system of government. Our congratulations go to Abigail Faulk, Ella Jones, Charles Maki, and Ryan Martz who have been selected to represent Jefferson High School at Boys and Girls States.

MISC:
*The Media Center staff will be holding a drawing with a prize going the person who comes closest to guessing the number of books in the Media Center. Enter your name and your best guess by Thursday, April 26th.


*Diversity day is coming May 4th.  You can participate up to 3 different ways:
1) Enter your work in the Poetry and Spoken Word contest, where the top prize is $100
2) Create a Diversity Day Booth
3) Participate in the Peace Run & Celebration.

Pick up all applications in the Main Office and submit them before 3:30pm on Friday, April 20th.  Plan ahead and join in the celebration!

*Attention Sophomores and Juniors: If you’re interested in being involved with Pathfinders next year, please consider attending an information session this Friday, April 13th before school or Tuesday, April 17th before or after school.

*The Senior All-Night Party for the Class of 2018 is just around the corner. Registration forms are now available in the main office. Register early for a chance to win a gift card.

*Today you will be attending periods 1, 2, 4, and 6.  Please take special note that due to overlapping lunch periods, there will be no bells during lunchtimes. Be sure to know when your lunch period begins and ends and watch the time carefully. See the website for today’s full schedule.
