Teen Read Week Oct. 18-23. Get caught reading by any teacher and
receive a ticket. Turn your ticket into the media center by Friday,
October 23, and you could be eligible to win a Caribou Coffee gift card.
We will draw 5 names Monday, Oct. 26. Come to the media center to
choose your book today!
Homecoming pictures are now available in Mr. Kelly’s
room during lunch.
Athletics:
There will be a brief boy’s basketball
meeting Friday, October 23rd before school at 7:35am in room C109 or
2:30pm in the Phy. Ed. classroom.
Congratulations to the
girls cross country team for winning the Metro West Conference Championship at
Hyland Greens last night! 5 Jags finished in the top 16 earning all
conference honors. Elise Longely was 7th, Caroline Anderson was 8th, Marissa
Dauner was 10th, Karley Thurston was 11th, and Molly Roach was 16th. The
boys finished 6th with Paul Cavanah earning All Conference Honors finishing
10th.

Career center:
The North Dakota State
College of Science will have a representative in the Career Center
on Friday, October 23 at 1:00pm. Sign up in the Career Center today
to meet with their admissions rep.
Attention seniors:
As part of College
Knowledge month, most State schools are waiving their application fee during
the last week of October. If you are interested in getting help with your
college applications come to the College Application Work Session next Wednesday,
Oct. 28, during homeroom, in the Career Center. Be sure to sign up in the
career center by Tuesday, October 27th.
