Students Homecoming is just around the corner please
make sure to check the obligation list that is posted in the main office
window. If you have any obligations they must be taken care of before you can
purchase your ticket to Homecoming.
Guest forms are now available in the choir room for
Jefferson students bringing a quest to the Jefferson Homecoming Dance. Any
person that does not attend Jefferson will need to have a form filled out and
returned to Mr. Kelly by Friday, September 25.
Students if you had
your picture taken at jump-start you can pick them up in the counseling office.
Athletics:
Jefferson Varsity Swim team won with 104
to 81 against Richfield.
Highlights were:
Sarina Le 1st in the 200
Freestyle, Ashley Machtig 2nd in the 200 Individual Medley and Maya Gatz
1st - 5o freestyle
Emma Eha took 2nd in diving with Ally
Heath taking 3rd
Amelia Bjorklund won the 500 Freestyle
1st in the 200 freestyle relay with Maya
Gatz, Ava Vaudreuil, Holly Holman and Zoe Gabrielson,
Amelia Bjorklund and Katie Rinnman tied
for 2nd in the 100 Breast
Amazing swims by all and fabulous diving,
everyone contributed to our win.
Career center:
Northern Michigan University, located in Marquette,
Michigan will have a representative in the Career Center on Monday,
September 21 at 9:30. Please sign up in the Career Center to get a pass.
There
are a number of national scholarships available that have fall deadlines.
