ACTIVITIES:
Its time to nominate for Homecoming Court!
Please stop by the counseling office in person to nominate / or accept a
nomination before 3:30 pm on Monday, September 14th. The person being nominated
must be in good standing and sign an acceptance form in the counseling office.
Guest forms are now available in the choir room for Jefferson students
bringing a guest to the Jefferson Homecoming Dance. Any person that does not
attend Jefferson will need to have a form filled out and returned to Mr. Kelly
by Wednesday, September 23.
Athletics:
Just a reminder the 10th
grade boys soccer B-squad bus departs at 3:30 today.
Congratulations to the
Boys Soccer team on their 1-0 win over Benilde Saint Margaret last night.
The win puts the Jaguars in first place
in the Metro West Conference. It was a great team defensive effort
coupled with a shut out by Joe Engel. Ethan Hight scored the game winning goal
with and assist to Tyler Remirsma.
Jags
are in action next Saturday afternoon at 3pm at Prior Lake
High School.
Career center:
Students,
are you considering applying to West Point, Air Force Academy, Naval Academy or
the Merchant Marine Academy? Congressman Eric Paulsen is hosting a US
Service Academy Information Night this coming Tuesday, Sept. 15 at
Olson Middle School at 7pm. Learn about programs, opportunities, and
life at the academies, as well as the academy application process and the
Congressional nomination process.
College
representatives from Drake, Kansas, and NDSU will be in the Career Center
on Monday, Sept. 14. Stop by the Career Center to sign up and get a
pass.
ACT
registration for the October 24 test is due Friday, Sept.
18. If you need help with registering online or need a fee waiver, please
stop by the Career Center for help.
