Athletics:
Three Bloomington Jefferson alpine individuals
competed in yesterday’s State High School Meet at Giant’s Ridge Ski Area in
Biwabik, MN.
- Junior captain Ryan Murray led the way by
qualifying for all-state honors with a 17th place finish.
- On the girls side, freshman Morgan Gasser
finished 32nd overall and sophomore Kari Garnett had some strong runs but
failed to place.
Good luck to the Jefferson wrestling team as they take on the #1 seed
Shakopee in section competition at 7 pm. Shakopee HS.
Career center:
There are a number of colleges & military branches
visiting Jefferson this spring. Starting
with today, Southwest Minnesota State University will be in the Career Center
at 1:30pm. Other visitors on the schedule include MSU-Mankato, St. Thomas and
UM-Duluth; and that is just to name a few!
