DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS: APRIL 9th

*The second AP exam meeting will be held in the auditorium this Wednesday, April 10th, during Advisory. It is a mandatory meeting for anyone signed up to take an AP exam this spring. The only exception will be for those who are taking a studio art exam; those students are not required to attend this meeting. Please bring a pencil to fill out your answer sheet. Check in with your advisory teacher, and then go immediately to the auditorium. See Mr. Lang in C104 if you have any questions.

*Attention all 10th and 11th grade students:
On Tuesday, April 16 you will take the MCA exam. Testing will run from 7:50 AM - 10:10 AM. Please arrive with your fully charged Chromebook and ready to test!

There will be signs posted around the building with your testing room number on them. You should report directly to your testing room by 7:50 AM. Please check your school email for more information. See Ms. Jarvis with any questions.

*9th graders: Be sure to check your school email to register for Freshmen Futures Day coming up on Tuesday, April 16; this event takes place during the school day. Please contact Ms. Wallerick with any questions.

*Register now the May 3rd and 4th Box City Vigil. The vigil is a fun event for students to help raise awareness for youth homelessness and Oasis for Youth, a drop in support center for homeless youth located in Bloomington. There will be pizza, live music, games and prizes. Registration forms are available in the main office. Fill out your registration and return it by April 18th if you are interested in ordering a T-shirt. All other registrations will be accepted until May 3rd, the day of the event.

*This year’s Prom will be held at the Mall of America, and because of mall security rules, ALL students will need a state-issued ID in order to be admitted to the dance. Your school ID is not considered a valid form of identification. Please see the JHS website for a link to acceptable forms of ID.  If you don't have a driver's license or passport it is very important that you act now; it may take a while to get a state-issued ID.

*Seniors! Check your school email for a link to vote on which JHS teacher you would like to speak at the graduation ceremony! Voting closes on Thursday, April 18. See Ms. Jarvis with any questions!
