DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS: APRIL 8th

ACTIVITIES:
*Seniors, the time has come to sign up for the Senior All-Night Party. Registration forms are in the main office or can be found on the Jefferson website under “NEWS.” Register by April 27th to be eligible to win a $25 gift card.

TEAMS/CLUBS:
*The Kolleens Dance Team will be holding an information meeting about upcoming tryouts on Thursday, April 11th at 3:15 PM in Kennedy High School room C204. The meeting is for any interested dancer who will be in grades 8-12 next year. If you have any questions, contact Coach Susie at kennedykolleens@yahoo.com

CAREER/COLLEGE CENTER:
*Representatives from the following colleges and universities will be available for questions in the Career Center this week:
  University of Wisconsin, Superior on Monday at 11am
  University of Tampa on Thursday at 9am
  Upper Iowa University on Thursday at 10:30am
  Savannah College of Art and Design on Thursday at 12:30pm

*Juniors or Seniors interested in taking the military ASVAB this Thursday morning at 7:50 AM should check their email for information or see Ms. Wallerick in the Career Center.

*Register for this Friday’s Career Spotlight Speaker event where our guest speaker will be able to answer your questions about a career in Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics. Check your email to register or see Ms. Wallerick in the Career Center if you have questions.
  
MISC:
*IMPORTANT for anyone thinking about attending PROM: Prom is coming fast and you need to know that there is a change in venue.  Prom will now be held at the Mall of America. Because of Mall security rules, ALL students will need a state-issued ID in order to be admitted to the dance. Your school ID is not considered a valid form of identification. Please see the JHS website for a link to acceptable forms of ID.  It is very important the you act now if you don't have a driver's license; it may take a while to get a state-issued ID.
