February is "I Love to Read Month." Students -- you can "Get Caught Reading" by your teachers today through February 17th. If your teacher sees you reading, he or she may hand you a ticket. If you receive a ticket, turn it into the jar in the Media Center, and you will be eligible for a Caribou gift card! Three tickets will be drawn Tuesday, February 21st. JHS Student Council is holding a Blood Drive on Friday February 10th. Sign ups will be at lunch. You may only sign up "to be a Hero" if you are:passing the class, and not having a summative. Please check with your teacher ahead of time.
ACTIVITIES:
JTC will be performing their One Act Play “Inherit the Wind” at Kennedy High School for one night only! Friday, February 10th at 7:00. Kennedy will be performing their One Act Play “The Lottery”
Attention Courage retreat leaders please remember to turn in your permission forms to Mrs. Wetzel in the main office today.
Congratulations to TOPPLE! They are receiving the Bloomington United for Youth Award. The Ceremony will be Tuesday, February 7th at the Bloomington Civic Plaza at 6:00pm in the Council Chambers.
