February is "I Love to Read Month." Students -- you can "Get Caught Reading" by your teachers today through February 17th. If your teacher sees you reading, he or she may hand you a ticket. If you receive a ticket, turn it into the jar in the Media Center, and you will be eligible for a Caribou gift card! Three tickets will be drawn Tuesday, February 21st. Junior leadership retreat forms are due this Friday. Make sure you have all of the required signatures and turn it into the Counseling Office ASAP.
JHS Student Council is holding a Blood Drive on Friday February 10th. Sign ups will be at lunch. You may only sign up "to be a Hero" if you are:passing the class, and not having a summative. Please check with your teacher ahead of time.
ACTIVITIES:
JTC will be performing their One Act Play “Inherit the Wind” at Kennedy High School for one night only! Friday, February 10th at 7:00. Kennedy will be performing their One Act Play “The Lottery”
ATHLETICS:
Congratulations boys Nordic cross-country ski team they are the MetroWest Conference Champions. Winning yesterday's pursuit championship race. The team was lead by Matthew Clarke, Anders Olson, Adam Wetmore, Connor Meany and Tim Lueth. Girls finished 4th led by Chloe Larson (2nd place) and Elise Longley. Good luck at sections.
