Attention
10th Graders:
The MCA
READING Test will be taking place next week Monday through Thursday. Please
check the lists that will be posted on FRIDAY to see where
your testing time and location will be. These lists will be posted in
several places, including Flag Hall, Deck Hall, by the Computer Labs, and
outside the Counseling Office.
Please
prepare yourselves for the Reading Test by getting a good night's sleep and
eating a healthy breakfast on the testing days! Do your best, as your
score will be part of your permanent school record!

ACTIVITIES:
Happy
Teen Tech Week! An "Hour of Code" group session will be held in
the Media Center after school today and tomorrow from 2:45-3:45. We will
work on designing a phone game app.
Athletics:
We
will have our spring volleyball meeting on Monday March 14 at
2:45pm in the Media Center.
Track athletes: Please register by this Friday March 11. If you
missed the spirit wear clothing deadline the ordering sight is open
again. See the Track Shutterfly website for details.
Career center:
Attention
seniors, the Thomas Burnett scholarship is now available online and in the
Career Center. Two $1250 scholarships will be awarded. Applications
due April 8 in the counseling office.
Seniors,
do you have more than 50 volunteer hours outside of school this year? There are
scholarships specific to you. Stop by the Career Center for more information.
The
Bloomington Teen Job Fair is quickly approaching. Plan to attend and interview
for jobs! The fair is Tuesday, March 15, from5-7pm at the Bloomington
Civic Plaza. For a list of employers attending and job-hunting tips, talk to
Ms. Linscheid in the Career Center.
