in congratulating the following students who represented Jefferson in the 2016
Minnesota Scholastic Art Competition. They were awarded either Honorable
Mention or the Silver Key Award.

Ella Marzolf, Kieran Oakley, Nicole Osinde, Anne Rae, Nathan Robertson,
and Katie Weston.
Spanish Club will eat at Andale TaquerÃa on Tuesday, January 19. See Sra. Brooke-Beyer for a driver-rider form.
Join the French Club after school today, Friday, Jan 15th and
watch a French movie with English subtitles. Bring your own beverage.
This year Jefferson
Theater Company has two plays that are completely student run. Auditions for
these plays will be held next Tuesday from 3 to 5 after school and callbacks
will take place the next day. Forms can be found on the Jefferson Theater
Company website.
Athletics:
Congratulations
to Nordic skiers Zak Ketterson, Alex Larson and Matthew Clarke - they went 1st,
2nd and 5th respectively in yesterdays 5k Classic race. Chloe Larson won the
female 5k Classic race. Zak Ketterson has also been selected to represent the
USA at the Junior World Ski Championships in Romania later in February. Way to
go Nordic Skiers.
