MARCH 14th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

ACTIVITIES:
There is a mandatory meeting for students in DCTC courses today at 9:45 am in the Cafeteria.

Congratulations to Alexa Schirber who qualified for the National Speech and Debate Tournament this weekend in both humorous and dramatic interpretation. She will join teammate Bella Phan, who qualified in the fall to go to nationals in Congressional Debate. Congratulations as well to our semifinalists at the National Qualifier: Amelia Miller, Bella Phan, and Claire Miller.

ATHLETICS:
Boys interested in playing high school golf should plan on attending a meeting today at 3pm in room C28.

There will be a Girls Lacrosse captains’ practice today at 4:25pm on courts 1&2.

CAREER CENTER:
A representative from the following colleges and universities will be in the Career Center this week:
  University of Wisconsin, LaCrosse today at 10:30am
  Illinois Institute of Technology today at 1:30pm

A representative from the NERDERY: a custom software design & development company, will be the Career Spotlight speaker of the Week on Friday at 1:40pm in the Career Center. See Mrs. Wallerick with any questions.

Valleyfair is currently hiring for the summer and will have a representative in the Career Center on Friday from 11:00am - 12:30pm. Stop by if you’re interested in learning more.

MISC:
Students, don’t forget to submit in your stories, poems, and artwork to the Jefferson Literary Arts Magazine, The Crooked Quill, by this Friday, March 16th. Contact Mr. Hupton if you have any questions.

Seniors, if you are planning on applying for the Honors Diploma, please turn your paperwork into Ms. Aby-Keirstead's mailbox in the Counseling Office by this Friday, March 16th.

Seniors, a representative from National Recognition Products will be in the cafeteria during lunchtime on Tuesday, March 20th to deliver graduation announcements and any other senior products you may have ordered from them earlier this school year. Please plan on picking up your ordered items on that day.
