September 19th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Great job making it to class on time Jaguars! Continue that trend because tardy sweeps and Lunch detention start this week.  

Thank you for removing your hoods & a headwear as you enter the building.  We appreciate how it has been a non-issue for most people.


ACTIVITIES:

If you are planning to bring a guest, from another school to the Homecoming Dance, please pick up a guest registration form in the choir room and return the completed form to Mr. Kelly by September 28th.


Are you interested in coding? Do you like to build and create machines? Here at JHS we will be starting and all girls vex robotics team. If you are interested in joining, be sure to walk on down to room A104 and talk to Mr. Verdegan.

There will be a meeting for those interested in going to Spain during the second half of advisory on Wednesday the 21st. It will be in Mr. Takalo's room, C12.  If you can't make it stop by and get on the email list.

Cheer Jam is this Friday, September 23rd from 9:00-11:30pm following the Jefferson/Kennedy football game.  Cheerleaders will be selling tickets all week during lunch in the cafeteria.  Tickets are only $5.  Please support Jefferson Cheer and come have fun at the first dance of the school year!

On Tuesday, Sept 20th at 5:30 pm there is a meeting for debaters and their parents in C20 to discuss this year's season.  It is required for all policy and public forum debaters.  

CAREER CENTER:
A representative from Gustavus will be in the Career Center tomorrow at 8:15. If you are interested in meeting with them, please stop by the Career Center to sign up and get a pass.

Juniors, if you are interested in being considered for National Merit Scholarships, you must take the PSAT test. Jefferson will host this test on Oct. 15 at 8:00am. Sign up online on the Jefferson homepage. The cost is $25. Sign up soon to get your seat!
