FEBRUARY 5TH DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Any 9th – 11th grade students not in homeroom on February 3rd must see Mrs. Theis in the counseling office to pick up their registration materials for next year. 

Seniors -- please stop by the counseling desk to check the list for graduation - we want to be sure you are on the list and also that we have the correct spelling for your diploma.   This needs to be done BY MARCH 1ST.


ACTIVITIES:

Literary magazine will meet on Monday, Feb. 8 after school.  This is to make up for our missed meeting last week.

Enter the Diversity Day T-Shirt design contest for a your chance to win $100. You can pick up an application in the main office. All applications must be turned in by Monday, February 29th to Ms. Espy in the main office.

Jag Corps is hosting a benefit dinner for Wounded Warriors on Saturday, February 13th from 5:30pm -8pm in the JHS Cafeteria tickets are $15.00.

Bloomington Home Improvement Fair concession booth is seeking volunteers! On Saturday, February 20th from 9:00am till 3:00pm. You can work in shifts or help as much as you can. If you are interested please leave your contact information in the main office.



Athletics:

Attention Track athletes: If you are interested in competing in Track and Field this Spring there will be an informational meeting at JHS cafeteria on Monday Feb 8th at 6:30 PM. If you would like to order spirit wear you need to be at this meeting.

Congratulations to Zak Ketterson for winning the Nordic Section race yesterday at Theodore Wirth. He advances to the state championship race next week.

Congratulations to the boys swimming team for winning against Robinsdale –Cooper yesterday final score Jefferson- 119 and Robinsdale- Cooper 45. Special congratulations to boys A-relay for beating Robinsdale 400-relay by 20 seconds.

Career center:
Attention Students who took the PSAT in October. Please pick up the print copy of your results in the Career Center.  

Attention sophomores and juniors, you have only 7 more days to register for the February 20 Practice ACT sponsored by DECA.  This is one of the most helpful ways to prepare.  Don't miss out!  Bring your $15 to the Career Center to complete your registration.
