April 20th DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Prom is right around the corner if you or your date has any obligations you need to pay them before you can purchase your ticket to the dance. Please check the obligation list posted in the main office window.



ACTIVITIES:

Today from 2:40 – 3:45 in C23 (Mr. Egger’s room) there will be an AP review session for the AP US Government test.


Athletics:

Congratulations to the Bloomington Aquettes on their successful meet last Friday at Richfield!

The following girls placed in the figures portion of the meet. 
Katy Bouchier placed first,
Alicia Steward placed second, 
Jackie Gerhardson placed third, 
Maddie Meier placed fourth, 
Elyse Cooke placed fifth, 
Ava Vaudreuil placed sixth, 
and Jackie Smith placed Seventh.

Emliy Steward placed second with her solo routine. 

For the duet routines, Jeannie Smith and Daniela Kunkel placed first and Greta Vacura and Emily Steward placed second.

For the trio routines, Jeannie Smith, Daniela Kunkel, and Ally Heath placed first and Aria Kramarczuk, Greta Vacura, and Marissa Dauner placed second.

For the team routines, the extended team made up of Jeannie Smith, Daniela Kunkle, Ally Heath, Greta Vacura, Emily Steward, Aria Kramarczuk, Tierney Iden, and Jenna Klobucar placed first.

Congratulations girls!

The girls will have their next meet this Friday at 4:30 p.m.at the Olson Middle School Pool against St. Louis Park.


Congratulations to the boys' tennis team on their 5-2 victory over Chanhassenon Thursday and their 7-0 win over Richfield on Friday.  The team is 2-0 and plays Eden Prairie today at Jefferson at 3:30.  Come on out and support the Jags!

Boys Distance Trade Runners:
Please check your school email or see Mr. Melendez in C120 for your meet assignments and workouts for Monday and Tuesday.




Career center:

College reps will be visiting Jefferson this week: Mount Mercy University in Cedar Rapids, Iowa on Wednesday at 9:30, Bemidji State on Thursday at 9:00, and University of Kansas on Thursday at 10:30.  The Air Force will also have a representative in the Career Center during lunches on Wednesday.  If you would like to learn about one or more of these schools or talk to the Air Force recruiter, sign up today in the Career Center.


Scholarship applications are due this week.  You can drop off completed applications in the Counseling Office.  The Fairview Southdale application is due Wednesday, and all others are due Thursday.  If you still need applications, pick them up in the Career Center
